Parasite Dust

  • Parasite Dust by Buck Mountain Botanicals is a powder compound formulated from Azadirachta indica, Achillea millefolium and diatom flour. It effectively rids animals and buildings of flies, fleas, lice, ticks, mites, spiders, beetles, ants, scabies and other insects. Azadirachtin within the neem tree is an active insecticide and insect repellant. Neem is also effective as a wound healing agent with antimicrobial properties. Yarrow is a repellent to many parasites and diatom flour desiccates many insects. The combination of these processed herbs is a very effective external parasite dust which also presents disinfectant and healing properties to skin infections, lesions and other irritations secondary to infestation. Even engorged ticks have disappeared by the next day after dusting.
  • The dust can be sprinkled onto a dry animal from head to tail along the spine and brushed into the hair to make contact with the skin. The amount needed is based on the animal’s body weight.
  • A teaspoon or two of the dust can also be applied to window sashes or sills for the elimination of flies, beetles and other bugs in homes and other buildings. It is safe for use in your garden as well. The ingredients non-mutagenic and nontoxic to mammals, fish and birds. There have been no adverse events reported to date.
